Liverpool v Aston Villa: Half Time update
Liverpool trail by a goal to nil at the half time break. A scruffy tap in from Gabby Abgonlahor on nine minutes being the difference. Brendan Rodgers, has gone against the LFC File’s advice and started with Lazar Marković in place of Raheem Sterling. Bad move and thus paying the price for it!
Liverpool continue to be patient but need to be wary of the counter attack. Mario Balotelli has been incessantly hacked by Philippe Senderos including a cheeky trip that should have seen a red had the referee been looking.
Balotelli and debutant Adam Lallana have both come close. The score remains 0-1 to the visitors but I firmly believe the hosts can turn this round. Sterling, get your tracky top off… You’re coming on, lad!
