LFC: The Good, The Bad and, The Ugly Weekly Update #3
Will the Reds’ fans see footballing heaven, now a winger is number 7? The record signing defender gets a load of flack, from a legend who claims he’s no boss at the back. Have FSG gone loose in the lid, if they make a reported £250m bid? The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Another week reviewed at Liverpool football club.
The Good
Luis Diaz has opted to take over the number seven shirt for Liverpool. The infamous number has been vacated by James Milner. Previous to him, the number was sported by the likes of Luis Suarez, Steve Macmanaman, Kevin Keegan and of course, King Kenny Dalglish.
The Bad
Virgil van Dijk coming in for some stick after his recent performances for Holland. The Orange people have lost three of their last four games and legend Ruud Gullit has singled out the Liverpool defender as a main culprit, due to a lack of leadership where it’s required most.
The Ugly
The claim from the Express that Liverpool will bid in the region of £250m for Kylian Mbappe… Probably this is nonsense. Liverpool in my opinion, would not pay this amount for a player who is in the last year of his contract. I’d love to see the Frenchman come to Anfield but I genuinely don’t see it. I’d be surprised if he DIDN’t go to Real Madrid!
