The Good

Liverpool drawing against German second tier side Greuther Furth, thanks trip last gasp Mo Salah equaliser. Luis Díaz opened the scoring for the Reds, only for them to concede three goals, after the hosts levelled shortly after half time.

Not great news but it could be worse!

The (Not) Bad

Jordan Henderson says his goodbyes to the fans in a recorded message, from an empty Anfield. The club captain expressed heart-felt gratitude andthankstothe fans he leaves to join Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq in a reported £12m deal.

The Ugly

The opening of the planned Stadium expansion of the Anfield rod stand will not take place in time for the first home game of the 2023/24 season as originally planned. After months of speculation, the club has confirmed that the opening will be delayed.

Contractor Buckingham, has now planned for completion in October, but have not been more specific than that.
