The Reds bring, the Bees to their knees, but yet again more injuries. The list of the crocked is really bad and in FPL things have gone oh so sad! The Good, The Bad and The Ugly at Liverpool FC for EPL Gameweek number 25.

The Good

The good this week goes without saying, it’s the 1-4 away victory over Brentford at the GTC community stadium.

The scoring was open by Nuñez after 35 minutes to send the Reds into the break one nil ahead. The only blot on the copybook was the loss of Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota to injury before the break.

The second half continued with Liverpool dominating when Alex McAllister extended Liverpool’s lead. Mo Salah added a third in the 68th minute before homes striker Ivan Tony scored to give the hosts a glimmer of hope.

That hope was sadly shortlist as Cody gecko latched onto a through ball to slot past Mark Flekken. Game over and three hard-fought points secured.

The Bad

The bad this week that was shadow of doubt, is the loss of Jones and Uta, who injury in the first half of Saturday’s game. Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota were both taken off within the space of 10 minutes during the 1-4 victory over Brentford.

Early indications are that Jota’s injury is the worst of the two although having said that, Curtis Jones’ fall did look particularly painful. Time will tell now as to the extent of the duo’s injuries and how long each will be out for.

The Ugly

Liverpools current injury list. At the time of the writing,Liverpool currently have 10 members of the first team out through injury.

Granted, Núñez and Homer do not seem to be that serious at the moment, although should Jota and Jones need extended lay-offs, this will represent a huge blow to Jürgen Klopp, the team and the fanbase. Just as the team are fighting for silverware on four fronts at this time, and the Carabao Cup final coming up on Sunday.
