The Good, The Bad & The Ugly – 2024/25 Gameweek #10

Against the Seagulls, it’s never dull, and do you know it was two in a row? Despite the smiles, a defender might be out for a while. In the FPL fight things are beginning to get tight.

The Good

They’re good this week. Is Liverpool coming from behind to earn a 2-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield on Saturday.

The Reds took advantage of both Manchester City and Arsenal suffering defeats 2-1 and 1-0 respectively. The win sends Liverpool two points clear at the top of the Premier League, on 53 points against City’s 52.

The (Not) Bad

Liverpool’s 3-2 win in the Carabao Cup last 16 fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday. The Reds secured their passage into this season’s quarter-final after a thrilling encounter at the AMEX Stadium.

Two second half goals from Cody Gakpo looked as if Liverpool‘s advancement in the competition was secured. However, a howler from Jarrel Quansah gave the hosts a glimmer of hope. Luis Diaz scored a late 3rd to settle Liverpool’s nerves. However, a deflected Tariq Lampty effort set up a nervy finish for the illustrious visitors.

The Ugly
