The win against Southampton at Saint Mary’s.
A hard-fought win on the south coast kept Liverpool in the driving seat. In what was NOT a game for the faint hearted. The Reds came from behind to win against a passionate home crowd.
The (Not) Bad
No Salah is absolutely crucial to Liverpool and their ambitions this season.
He was almost a spectator for most of the game yesterday and then pops up with two goals!
The (Sm)Ugly
Liverpool capitalised on Manchester City‘s poor run of form on Sunday to extend their lead to eight points over their rivals.
The next game will go as long way to getting a psychological boost in the Premiership race.
